Equipment Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.

 Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders for construction and maintenance projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, maintenance, and service logs.

 Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license any required certifications for equipment operation.
• Proven experience as an Equipment Operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery in a variety of settings.
• Experience with Trimble or other GPS machine control systems is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance and operating procedures.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions and manuals.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
